FAQ

Answers before you book

Everything our North Vancouver families ask about billing, nervous-patient care, emergencies and appointments.

Common questions

Here to put your mind at ease

If your question isn't here, call us at 1400 Lonsdale Avenue and we'll walk you through it.

Still have a question?

Call our North Vancouver team and we'll talk it through.

Do you bill my insurance directly?

Yes. We offer direct billing to most insurance plans, so you can often leave without paying up front. Bring your insurance details to your appointment and our front desk will take care of the rest.

What if my insurance isn't accepted for direct billing?

Most plans are covered, but if yours isn't, we'll give you a receipt with everything your insurer needs so you can claim the cost back yourself.

I get nervous about the dentist. Will you judge me?

Never. Many of our patients feel anxious, and our whole team is used to it. We go at your pace, explain every step before we do it, and stop any time you need a break.

What happens at a first visit if I'm a nervous patient?

We start with a conversation, not a chair. Dr. Sandhu or Dr. Ellison will ask about your concerns, take a gentle look, and agree a plan with you before any treatment begins.

Do you see emergencies the same day?

Yes. We hold same-day emergency appointments for toothaches, breaks and swelling. Call us as early as you can and we'll fit you in.

What counts as a dental emergency?

Sudden or severe tooth pain, a cracked or knocked-out tooth, swelling in the face or gums, or a lost filling or crown. If you're unsure, call us and describe what's happening.

Are you taking new patients?

Yes, we're accepting new patients and new families in North Vancouver. Check-ups, hygiene, Invisalign, implants and emergency care are all open to book.

What are your hours and how do I book?

We're open Monday to Thursday 8am to 7pm, Friday 8am to 4pm, and Saturday 9am to 2pm. Call (604) 555-0163 or book through our contact page.
